RenderStream

High-Performance Computing For Artists, Architects and Animators

RenderStream systems use an integrated hardware-software approach tuned for peak performance. We research component balancing and software to determine what configuration provides the most cost effective solution for your rendering needs. Our systems are fully optimized for 3DS Max and are transferable to other render and compositing platforms.

All systems are assembled and burned-in in an ISO 9001 compliant manufacturing facility.

RenderStream Master Computers

  • mRS 1-4C :
    • Single Quad-core
    • NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 or better graphics cards
    • 2 GB or 4 GB DDR3
    • Multi-drive RAID0 array (typically 2 300 GB SATA drives) with optionally installed 1 TB back-up drive
  • mRS 2-4C : Windows-based workhorse.
    • Dual Quad-core
    • NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 or better graphics cards
    • 2 GB, 4 GB 800 MHz or 8 GB 667 MHz DDR2 memory
    • Multi-drive RAID0 array (typically 2 300 GB SATA drives) with optionally installed 1 TB back-up drive
  • mRS L-CS : 64-bit Linux-based compositing systems
    • Dual Quad-core
    • Uses an industrial motherboard for rendering
    • 32 GB or 64 GB at 800 MHz memory or 128 GB at 667 MHz memory
    • Bullet proof eight drive RAID0 for fast media cache access and paging.

Overclocking and liquid cooling are available on all masters.

Without spending hundreds of thousands more the 128 GB RS L-CS is pin for pin the best compositing system on the planet.

RenderStream server/nodes/slaves

  • sRS S-4C : Barebones systems made with best price-point components
    • 1 quad-core
    • 2 GB or 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 memory
    • integrated graphics
    • single 7200 or 10k rpm SATA hard drive
  • sRS Sx-4C : High performance Xeon nodes
    • 1 quad-core
    • 2 GB or 4 GB at 800 MHz or 8 GB at 667 MHz DDR2 memory
    • integrated graphics (optional GPU card of your choice)
    • dual-SATA or SCSI drive RAID0 for fast caching and paging

Overclocking and liquid cooling are available on all servers/nodes/slaves.

Keep in mind that you want the most bang for your money and our barebones system is ideal for this because you add compute power at lowest money per GHz.
